I suppose if you live nearby, and know the owners, or parking rules, and have a full tank of gas, and want quick access to the Ohio River, this place is ok.
Have always enjoyed the food and the bar here, but I am the most impressed with the marina. I recently bought a deck boat and the only thing better than the price was the service. Seriously. Got to pick the exact boat I wanted from the factory, the price was better than anywhere else and they set it up for me and it was good to go. Love it!!! Thank you for helping me with the process of picking exactly what I wanted and delivering to my dock. Would highly recommend.
Food was good. Nice bar. Great for summer. Easy access from river.
There is no defined parking, and I would have been uncomfortable. parking anywhere, and wondering if I was going to be towed or not.
Amazing pizza! And burgers are good too! Bar and seating were good, they could make improvements on service to help when they are busy , but they were super nice and took care of us (it was a busy night). They have made a lot of great improvements since coming under new ownership, would definitely recommend it!!!
The water of Gunpowder Creek is stagnant and has a smell of decay and fuel. Nobody mans the (so called) marina, so if you happen to need gas, you have to call a phone number on a sign at the pier, and hope someone comes out or turns the pump on.
Nice place. Very friendly , helpful employees and guest. They have everything you need. My only complaint was launching our boat our tire went in a hole under the water. We were stuck. Hopefully that will get fixed and dont happen to anyone else.
